Pesto

Ingredients: 

  • 3 cups fresh basil leaves  

  • ½ cup of pine nuts 

  • 4 peeled garlic cloves 

  • ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese  

  • 1 cup olive oil 

  •  

  • package of pasta  

Steps: 

  1. Gather all ingredients 

  2. Blend fresh basil leaves, nuts, garlic, and cheese together in a food processor until finely chopped  

  3. Pour in oil slowly with the processor running until well combined  

  4. Season with salt and pepper 

  5. Cook the pasta in a pot of boiling water  

  6. Drain the pasta after its done cooking  

  7. Mix the pasta and the pesto together
