Turkey Club

Ingredients: 

  • 4 thin slices of crispy bacon 

  • 3 slices of white bread  

  • 2 tablespoons butter  

  • 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise 

  • 3 ounces of sliced turkey 

  • 2 leaves of butter lettuce  

  • 2 slices of ripe tomato 

  • Salt and pepper 

Steps: 

  1. Cook the bacon until it is crispy  

  2. Once its crispy place it on paper towels to absorb the grease  

  3. Preheat the skillet over medium heat  

  4. Spread some butter onto a slice of bread  

  5. Add to a hot cast iron pan 

  6. Toast until the bread is golden brown 

  7. Repeat for all 3 bread slices 

  8. Spread the mayonnaise on a slice of toasted bread 

  9. Layer butter leaves first 

  10. Next tomato slices 

  11. Sprinkle salt and pepper onto the tomato slices  

  12. Spread mayonnaise onto the second slice of bread 

  13. Place it mayonnaise side to the tomato 

  14. Add mayonnaise to the other side of the bread layer in layers of turkey and cooked bacon slices 

  15. Add more mayonnaise to the last piece of bread  

  16. Put the bread on top to finish the sandwich  

  17. Serve warm
