Grilled Cheese

Ingredients: 

  • 2 slices of melting cheese (such as American, cheddar, Swiss, mozzarella, etc.) 

  • 2 slices of bread (such as white, rye, sourdough, etc.) 

  • 1 tablespoon fat (such as butter, mayonnaise, olive oil, etc.) 

Steps: 

  1. Put 2 slices of the cheese of your choice onto 2 slices of the bread you choose 

  2. Preheat a skillet over medium-low heat 

  3. Spread or brush the outside of the sandwich with 1 tablespoon of fat 

  4. Cook until lightly browned (3-4 minutes) 

  5. Flip the sandwich and continue cooking until browned and the cheese is melted (3-4 minutes)
