Tuxedo Brownie
Ingredients:
For chocolate brownie layer-
½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
6 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
2 eggs
¾ cups sugar
½ teaspoon vanilla
½ cup all-purpose flour
Pinch of salt
For white chocolate brownie layer-
½ cup white chocolate chips
6 tablespoons unsalted melted butter
2 eggs
¾ cup sugar
½ teaspoon vanilla
½ cup all-purpose flour
Pinch of salt
Steps:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees f
Line an 8x8 square pan with parchment paper
For chocolate brownie layer
In a saucepan melt the butter and chocolate chips over a medium low heat
Remove from heat and add the sugar and flour
Mix with a whisk until combined
Add the eggs, vanilla, and pinch of salt
Mix until combined
Pour this batter on the prepared pan
For white chocolate brownie layer-
In a saucepan melt the butter and white chocolate chips over medium low heat
Remove from heat and add the sugar and flour
Mix with a whisk until combined
Add the eggs, vanilla and a pinch of salt
Whisk until combined
Pour this batter over the chocolate layer and spread evenly
Bake for 30-40 minutes
Remove from the oven and cool over a rack
Refrigerate for 1-2 hours for easier slicing
Run a knife through the sides of the brownie pan
Lift the parchment paper to release the brownies
Cut into squares
