Cheddar Omelet

Ingredients: 

  • 3 large eggs 

  • 1 tablespoon milk 

  • Salt and pepper to taste  

  • 2 tablespoons butter 

  • ¼ cup shredded cheese  

Steps: 

  1. Whisk eggs in a bowl 

  2. Add milk and season with salt and pepper 

  3. Melt butter in a non-stick skillet on medium-low heat 

  4. Pour in egg mixture 

  5. Swirl the skillet so the egg is evenly covering the skillet 

  6. Cook until egg starts to set (about 1 minute) 

  7. Lift edges with a spatula and tilt the skillet so the uncooked egg can flow toward the bottom of the skillet 

  8. Repeat until there is no more uncooked egg 

  9. Carefully flip the omelet 

  10. Cook until warmed (30 seconds to a minute) 

  11. Sprinkle the cheese down the middle of the omelet 

  12. Fold in half 

  13. Cook until cheese is melted (20 seconds) 

  14. Put omelet onto a plate
