Chicken Tenders

Ingredients: 

  • Cooking spray 

  • 1 large egg 

  • ½ cup panko breadcrumbs 

  • 2 tablespoons canola oil 

  • 8 chicken tenders (1 pound) 

Steps: 

  1. Preheat air fryer to 350 degrees f 

  2. Coat basket with cooking spray 

  3. Whisk eggs in a small bowl 

  4. In another bowl, stir panko and oil together until loose and crumbly  

  5. Dip each chicken tender into egg, allowing excess to drip off 

  6. Dip chicken into panko mixture to coat completely  

  7. Working in batches, if needed, arrange chicken in an even layer in the air fryer basket 

  8. Cook until chicken is no longer pink in the center and the juices run clear (12 minutes) 

  9. A thermometer should read 165 degrees f
